Sisley Ecological Compound 2019 Limited Edition

For the second consecutive year, Sisley Paris introduces a limited edition Ecological Compound. The Ecological Compound is an “ecological emulsion,” a revitalizing and moisturizing skin care products formulated with plant extracts that work in synergy to benefit the skin.

The product was created in 1980, and it has been among Sisley’s best-selling products ever since then. The formula has remained the same throughout the decades and it features natural ingredients such as Centella Asiatica, Ginseng, Rosemary, Hops, and Horsetail.

The revitalizing formula moisturizes and restores comfort and radiance, tone and suppleness. It also fortifies the skin, making it more resilient against environmental aggressors, especially against pollution and cigarette smoke. The hydrating texture is fluid and non-greasy, so it leaves the skin with a matte appearance. The moisturizer doubles as both a primer and an ideal aftershave.

This year, Sisley collaborated with Polish painter Elzbieta Radziwill, who adorned the bottles with floral, butterfly and dragonfly motifs. The design is said to be inspired by a marine botanical breeze. The Ecological Compound Limited Edition is graced with aquatic green and blue tones of the butterflies and plants scattered with drops of water. The product is available in 125ml sized bottle, and it retails for £168.00.
