Smashbox Be Legendary Lip Gloss Collection is said to be inspired by the use of red photo gels, which are typically used on fashion sets! In case you don’t know, the gels are smooth, translucent colored acetate sheets that are positioned over lenses to create various color effects in photos by altering the color of lights. The texture of the gloss is thus developed to mimic the gel-like texture by providing a clear, hydrating base free of any heavy binders. In other words, the formula is very lightweight yet dense, without ever feeling sticky. The clear base is blended with richly saturated color pigments, ensuring a vibrant color payoff, airy feel and high-impact glassy finish.
