Smashbox Double Exposure Palette for Holiday 2014

Smashbox has introduced its new eye shadow palette, which is designed as a part of the brand’s holiday offerings for 2014. The new Double Exposure Palette brings 14 versatile eye shadows, designed to create different effects when applied wet or dry.

The shadows from the innovative Double Exposure Palette are formulated with coating technology, which means that their basic structure changes in contact with water. In other words, this means that each of the shades transforms in one of four ways: becomes more vibrant, deeper, turns metallic, or creates three-dimensional sparkle. The unique formula allows the 14 shadows to become 28 shades in one palette! The palette is inspired by a photography technique called “multiple exposure,” in which the camera shutter opens more than once to expose the film several times during a shot… the result is a sequence that shows how a picture transforms…

Smashbox Double Exposure Palette for Holiday 2014 is delivered in a slender black case together with a double-ended brush. The domed end is designed to absorb just the right amount of water, while the angled side works wonders when it comes to drawing precise lines. It is also suitable for creating diffused lines with dry eye shadows.

Makeup artists from Smashbox have also created six signature looks, which are illustrated in the #shapematters insert. In addition, a Full Exposure Mascara, is included as a bonus, in five-week supply.

Double Exposure Palette retails at $52.00. The product is available for purchase at Sephora, but only for VIB Rouges.
