StormSister Spatique releases its debut vegan lipstick line

StormSister Spatique, a new, Minnesota-based beauty brand, has released its first line of lipsticks! The StormSisters line has captured our attention a couple of days ago, when Martha Stewart and her panel of judges listed StormSister Spatique among the finalist of the 2015 Martha Stewart American Made Audience Choice Awards in the Style category.

Becky Sturm, owner/President of StormSister Spatique, explained that the StormSisters range includes 14 shades – each reflecting one of the “sisters” for whom it is named. The sisters are ladies who have been extraordinarily influential to the StormSister Spatique brand, while the collection emphasizes their individual ideals of beauty: “I’ve always believed that lipstick is an accessory. Rather than following archaic rules of color-matching our skin tone or our hair color, women should wear colors that are fun and what we as individuals find beautiful.”

Everything about this collection is sister-powered. Since Sturm has been a small business owner for 25 years, her independent business partners were there for her to help out every little step of the way – from concept and design, manufacturing and packaging.  As she explains, these friendly relationships ensure that the lipsticks are made of the finest ingredients, and live up to her standards for quality and glam.

StormSisters Lipsticks are available for purchase at www.stormsisterspatique.com and will retail for $22. StormSister has also announced the launch of its 2nd collection of lipsticks, which is slated for October 28th, 2015. The lineup includes five new shades: Erin, Amy, Miranda, Sandy and Meghan.
