French brand Talika employs the wonders of light therapy to help reduce wrinkles, irregular skin tone, redness and dark spots.

The application of light therapy based on NASA discoveries from 1970’s, and this field of science is something that Talika has been investigating for several years. Thanks to the mobile LED appliances, Talika has managed to create revolutionary cosmetic products that work by the principle that each specific wavelength of light provides equally specific healing properties on the skin. Until this day, Talika has managed to create a collagen synthesis stimulator (Light 590), a skin lightener (Light 525), and the Light Duo, which is the appliance that combines the benefits of both of its predecessors – ant aging + dark spots correcting.

The new versatile, anti-aging device is called Talika Light Duo+. It merges the benefits of light therapy and classical trio-wavelength technology, which promises to reduce the appearance of dark spots, wrinkles and redness. The light of each wavelength – green, yellow and red – is absorbed by the skin, it penetrates deep into the epidermis and helps to restore and preserve skin’s healthy-looking, fresh appearance. The green light of 525 nm targets dark spots, the yellow light of 590 nm possesses anti-aging benefits as it stimulates the production of collagen; the red light of 630 nm provides anti-redness benefits, it helps to synthesize the extracellular matrix and collagen and restore the youthful appearance of the outermost layer of the skin.  The Talika Light Duo+ therapy is said to bring you -66% of redness instantly, -32% of wrinkles in 28 days, and -46% in dark spots in only 60 days. The small oval shaped device is very easy to use. It has a built-in timer and features a vibrating recognition system that is automatically activated on contact with the skin and de-activated when the treatment is complete. The collagen boosting treatment should last 45 seconds per area, and you should take it once a day. The skin lightening treatment should be done twice a day, and it lasts one minute per area. The anti-redness treatment will also take one minute to complete, but this one should be taken only one time per area daily.
