Tarte has just released its very first foundation stick! The new Tarte Clay Stick Foundation is, of course, powered by the skin-loving, rejuvenating powers of Amazonian clay, and specifically developed to give you a natural-looking, weightless coverage.

Foundation sticks are not only great while you’re on the move, but also ideal for creating allover coverage, contouring, and touch ups – plus, all this completely mess free. The problem with this kind of makeup is that it’s typically too hard to blend, tends to set into fine lines, and feels heavier on the skin. Tarte’s Funder Maureen Kelly wanted to give her fans exactly what they desired – a foundation with a really nice skin finish that lasts all day, and yet feels comfortable. Tarte Clay Stick Foundation is a 2-in-1 liquid and powder formula, available in 12 natural-looking shades. The creamy matte clay stick is formulated with Amazonian clay, which gives it a better, longer, and truer wear – to up to 12 hours. The buildable, feather light formula melts into skin for medium to full coverage that remains shine and cake-free as long as you wear it. It contains micro-encapsulated powders that react with your body heat to absorb excess oils and ensure long-lasting wear. The foundation feels rich and creamy when applying, but it almost instantly sets into a semi-matte satin finish.

The vegan formula also features antioxidant vitamins C, E, and is free from harsh chemicals like talc, gluten, sulfates, or parabens. Because of its rich texture, the foundation stick can also be used as a spot concealer, or in lighter or darker shades to highlight & contour.
