YSL Baby Doll Mascara

One of the highlights of the Yves Saint Laurent runway earlier this month was a baby-doll dress, worn by Hedi Slimane. Building upon the same trend, Yves Saint Laurent Beaute now launches a mascara named Baby Doll.

YSL Baby Doll Mascara is scheduled for release later this month. The product belongs to the Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils line and it is built on a patented formula, which makes the fluid ultra-thin, ultra resistant and ultra bendable, on application. The formula blends refined polymers, a texturizing agent and soft waxes, which makes the Baby Doll mascara ideal for lengthening and curling of the lashes. The ingredient structure was inspired by graphene, which is a carbon crystal with a honeycomb structure. In practice this means that the molecules in the formula are layered and mixed with each other in a way that results in a super-thin film and even, homogeneous color.

YSL Baby Doll Mascara is very buildable thanks to the union of the formula and the elastomer brush. The wand of the brush alternates thick and wide-spaced bristles with finer, more closely spaced bristles. Thanks to this, it evenly deposits color and defines lashes.

YSL Baby Doll Mascara comes in four shades; Fetish Black, Audacious Blue, Indiscreet Purple and Wheedler Brown. The new mascara will launch in U.S. on March 17, at yslbeautyus.com. On April 15, the mascara will enter Sephora in the U.S., before it becomes available from other retailers countrywide, on May 15. The international launching dates are: France on April 29, the U.K. on May 22, Germany and Spain on June 1, Russia is on June 1 and Italy in early June.

YSL Baby Doll Mascara will be priced at $30 in the U.S., and in Europe it will be priced at 33 €. Source: WWD
