YSL Saharienne Heat Collection for Summer 2013

May 2013 sees the launch of YSL Beauté's new makeup collection, which is designed to complement the beauty trends of the upcoming summer. The collection is named Saharienne Heat.

YSL Saharienne Heat Collection is inspired by the colors of the purple sunset over a golden desert. The selection of shades is simply beautiful and very diverse: from golden beige to earthy brown, deep turquoise and purples… The surface of the compacts is colored in gold and graced with an exotic Moroccan motif, evoking the sensational nature of North Africa.

The central item of the collection is YSL Ombres 5 Lumieres eyeshadow set in color harmony named Marrakesh Sunset. The product is an online exclusive and it comes in a collector’s gold case. The palette features the shades of bronze, gold and copper, paired with striking violet and golden brown. $58.00

There is also a new shade of YSL Pure Chromatics Wet and Dry Shadow, named No13. This is a new generation of eye shadows with color pigments that more intense and dramatic than in regular eye shadows. It can be used dry, for a nice satiny finish, or wet as a luxurious cream with metallic finish. $55.00

YSL Dessin Du Regard Crayon Yeux Waterproof arrives in a limited edition shade named 10 Violet Massa. This eye liner gives stay-true color that always looks fresh and its built-in blending tip allows you to achieve various effects from smoky shadow to a dramatic kohl look. $30.00

YSL Terre Saharienne Powder is a gorgeous matte bronzer, which is ideal for use on warm summer days. It leaves the skin fresh and radiant without the shimmer. The product is available in three shades - Ambree, Ocree and Halee (light, medium and dark) and it retails at $50.00.

The collection includes Rouge Pur Couture Vernis a Levres Glossy Stain in two shades: 14 Fuchsia Dore and 31 Corail Alla Prima. This is a hybrid lip product that combines texture and shine of a gloss with rich and longwearing color of a lipstick. $34.00

There’s also the YSL Rouge Pur Couture Golden Lustre in 114 Rose De Saba and 115 Brun Sultan. These gorgeous tawny shades are infused with golden shimmering particles and they are designed to evoke the light reflection on the sand dunes. $34.00
