Yves Saint Laurent unveils its new makeup collection, designed for the summer of 2014 – the Bleus Lumiere.

For the upcoming season, YSL Beauté suggests something different, more vibrant and much wilder than classic summertime makeup. Instead of soft neutrals and golden bronze, YSL has created a collection inspired by the bluest shades of the sea, by the fresh splashes of clear water, and juicy tropical fruits. The collection is said to be directly inspired by the lush gardens of the Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech, and the special shade of bold cobalt blue used extensively in this famous artist's landscape garden in Morocco. The Jardin Majorelle was designed by the French artist Jacques Majorelle, and it is considered to be his creative masterpiece. The collection promises to bring you the signature Yves Saint Laurent radiance, which is perfect for the summer, using the color palate that captures the enthralling contrast between the fresh Mediterranean Sea and the glowing warmth of summer beaches.

YSL Bleus Lumiere 5 Ombre Eyeshadow Palette draws on inspiration from the sea and brings us five different shades of blues, coral and beige. The case and the look of the palette is inspired by YSL’s famous Mondrian dress. The 'Summer' Eyeshadow Palette now retails at $54.00.
