Yves Saint Laurent Chinese New Year Palette for 2016

Same as Giorgio Armani, the house of Yves Saint Laurent is joining in with the Chinese New Year Celebrations, on February 8 2016. While the Italian fashion designer honors the Year of the Monkey with a limited edition face palette, the French luxury fashion house releases a very special, limited edition of its YSL Couture Palette.

The YSL Chinese New Year Palette for 2016 comes in a gorgeous gold-colored case, which is inspired by handcrafted metal work. The palette celebrates the upcoming Year of the Monkey, while, at the same time, it pays tribute to Yves Saint Laurent, and his passion for bringing artwork to life.

The beautiful gold colored case, with irregular ribbed surface, is decorated with a smooth gold-colored plate inscribed with YSL insignia in red. Same as every year, the palette combines these traditional festive colors. The mirrored lid opens to reveal five well-balanced shades, ranging from warm pink to beautiful taupes. The shades are hand-picked to give you an illuminated eye look, and a lucky start to the New Year.

Same as always, the Couture Palette combines five long-wearing, crease-proof eyeshadows with a high concentration of pearls and pigments. The formula includes a matrix of transparent powders that guarantees optimal hold, smooth finish, and up to 12-hour wear.
