A year back from today, Yves Saint Laurent introduced its new Le Cushion Encre de Peau Foundation, a portable, k-beauty-inspired version of its Fusion Ink Le Teint Encre De Peau Foundation. At the time, the product, which is now one of the YSL’s bestsellers, was announced as YSL’s first nomad foundation cushion compact and a new, luxury street style for makeup, designed for quick and easy application in a single step.

This year, Yves Saint Laurent Beauté has come up with yet another format of its Encre De Peau foundation. This time, a powerful new hybrid formula combines the coverage of a powder, with the flexibility and lightness of a liquid foundation. YSL’s Le Compact Encre de Peau can be used in many different ways – as a base color for your face, as a finishing product, or even for touch-ups on-the-go. The innovative formula results in a fresh, matte, but never flat finish, which gives your skin a silky, flawless look.

Le Compact Encre de Peau is formulated with the cutting-edge 3D Elastic Gel technology, which gives it a lot of flexibility and bounce, so it never looks cakey, nor it emphasizes dry patches, fine lines, or flaking. The advanced cream-to-powder formula promises to give you a more lively, luminous matte finish. Upon contact with the skin, this soft, blendable cream transforms into a seamless powder, allowing you to use it either as a foundation or a finishing product.

YSL Le Compact Encre de Peau comes with a specially designed double sponge that ensures perfect application. For more coverage, apply the powder with a sponge in short, sweeping motions. For lighter coverage, or a matte finish, apply it in tapping motion. Le Compact Encre de Peau will be available in six shades, from March 2017.
