The house of Yves Saint Laurent celebrates the Chinese New Year, which falls on February 19th. To mark the turning of the Chinese calendar, and welcome the upcoming Year of the Goat, YSL Beauty presents the Limited Edition Chinese New Year Couture Palette.

The Yves Saint Laurent Limited Edition Chinese New Year Couture Palette honors the Chinese New year with a special collectible Couture Palette painted in festive shades of gold and red. The luxurious gold-colored case features a bright red lacquered lid with charming hearts design. According to the brand, this limited edition graphic is inspired by Monsieur Yves Saint Laurent’s limitless passion for Love. The compact opens to reveal dark black interior and intense long-wearing and crease-proof eyeshadows. The luxurious formula blends miniscule pearls and pigments, as well as special transparent powders, to ensure optimal hold that lasts for up to 12 hours.

For the Chinese New Year, Yves Saint Laurent Beauty has decided to revamp its famous color harmony named Saharienne. The shades are reminiscent of African sunset – two lighter shades (a light, yellow-toned beige and a bright light gold) are ideal for highlighting and blending, the central shade is a medium-dark chocolate brown (ideal for lining), while gold-shimmered brown and a light-medium grey taupe, can be applied as base colors.
