Yves Saint Laurent is launching a beautiful new makeup collection, which is designed to make you look pretty at all the parties that you will attend this holiday season. The collection is named Parisian Nite, and it features a range of pretty new shades inspired by the nights out in Paris.

The choice of shades and textures, for this Parisian soirée, is really surprising. It seems that the famous haute couture and beauty band has chosen soft and delicate pinks as the basis of its color scheme. The textures are creamy, semi-transparent, and mainly natural, with just a little bit of shimmer here and there.

Yves Saint Laurent Parisian Nite 2013 Holiday Collection is nothing like we would normally expect from the festive makeup range. The shades are gorgeous, but they are more suitable for the spring/summer season and for the “effortless beauty” makeup styles. However, I have to say that I really like this new collection, not only because it is definitely my cup of tea, but also because you can wear any of these shades all year round. The cases are also gorgeous, featuring the iconic gold shade with pretty pink heart-shaped ornaments and YSL monogram.

YSL Palette Avenue Marceau Pure Chromatics Collector Palette is a gorgeous eye shadow quad that features four complementing shades - pink, violet, gold, and purple - that evoke the colors of the Parisian sunset.
