Yves Saint Laurent has a new palette of eye shadows. This time, international makeup artist Lloyd Simmonds decided to come up with some new color combinations. There are 6 new color palettes, and each of them can be applied using the dry method, to get nice soft color, and wet – to enhance the shine and make the chromatic pigments come to life.
Each packaging comes with a set of applicators and nicely perforated base, which speeds up the process of drying. In this collection water is a color catalyst, intensifying the chromatic power of the pearls and pigments. When applied with water, the color is more intense, it becomes creamy and coated in an intense metallic finish: “Pearl white transforms anthracite into metallic violet. Iridescent brown melts with pink to create nude beige. Bronze becomes a moiré taffeta under the influence of garnet.”
The patented formula of Pure Chromatic contains water, pearly particles and pigments. When the water comes into the contact with powdery formula, the number of pigments is increased by 50% compared with conventional powdery texture - new shade provide deep color, the water mixes pearls and pigments, and enhances their brightness.
