Yves Saint Laurent Savage Escape Makeup Collection for Summer 2016

The house of Yves Saint Laurent has just introduced its new color collection. The new Savage Escape Summer Collection, with Cara Delevingne on duty as the face of the promotional campaign, is inspired by boundless freedom and adventure. The color palette combines blues and aquatic shades, reminiscent of sky and water, with gold and brown neutrals, evocative of the dusty road and endless desert. The sparkling, shimmering shades of pale pink symbolize the setting sun.

The campaign visual shows Cara Delevingne sitting on a car in a desert, with a distinctively bold, almost savage look. She’s captured wearing a bold eye make-up, with gold-colored lids, and a strong blue line below her lower lashes. The poster also reveals the look of YSL’s new temporary skin tattoos, named Couture Skin Jewels. As you can see, her fingernails are painted in barely-there shimmering shade (N°71 Savage Pink), while the toes are colored with a deep blue lacquer (Night Escape).

YSL Couture Palette Savage Escape is a limited edition eyeshadow palette that arrives in a gold-colored compact, a sun-bleached blue suede lid and YSL insignia printed in rose gold. The eyeshadow quintet includes universally flattering shades from golden browns and blues, to warm pinks. $60.00

YSL Full Metal Shadow, YSL’s first metallic-color liquid eyeshadow, is available in two shades: N°11 Bonnie Copper, and N°12 Blue Clyde. The eyeshadow lasts up to 16 hours, without creasing, flaking, or fading. In addition, the refreshing, cooling formula, contains 40% water. $30.00

YSL Gloss Volupte Lip Gloss is issued in two pinky shades, N°54 Aurora Pink and N°55 Rose Eldorado. This lightweight, non-sticky lip gloss envelops your lips in full color, while giving them a radiant, reflective look. Both shades are new. $32.00

YSL La Laque Couture is available in two shades: N°71 Savage Pink and N°72 Night Escape. These trendy shades of pink and night blue are both limited edition. $28.00
