Yves Saint Laurent Urban Escape Makeup Collection for Summer 2018

Yves Saint Laurent Beauty announces the launch of its new capsule collection that captures the burning heat of the concrete with an urban twist in pop colors.

The new Urban Escape collection for Summer 2018 is inspired by the summer in the city. The face of the promotional campaign is Zoë Kravitz, the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet, one of the YSL’s latest global make-up ambassadors.

The electro-pop singer, who is both undeniably cool and ridiculously beautiful, is here to help the fashion house appeal to a more millennial demographic while staying faithful to its recognizable DNA. Zoe, who has already starred in YSL's "Beauty The Light" video project last year, is fronting the new advertising campaign. All dressed in white and wearing a pair of old tennis shoes, Zoe is skateboarding in an empty swimming pool. Her eyes blend with the washed out blue backdrop, evoking the colors of the heated concrete jungle. Her lips painted in fiery red.

The Urban Escape collection by YSL includes just a couple of makeup essentials designed to help you recreate Zoe’s ultimate cool-girl look.

The central piece of the collection is the YSL Couture Eye Palette Collector, a limited edition set of five beautiful eyeshadows housed in a unique collectible compact. The casing is adorned with a pale, washed out blue, reminiscent of the summer in the city. There are five satin and shimmer eyeshadows to choose from, ranging from pearlescent white, silver and lavender, to concrete blue and turquoise.

YSL Baby Doll Kiss & Blush, a blendable air whipped mousse that highlights both lips and cheeks with a soft matte finish, arrives in a limited edition shade N° 26 Forbidden Red.

YSL Rouge Volupté Shine, the iconic conditioning lipstick that provides both luscious color and luminous shine, is available in two limited edition shades:

• N° 75 Red In The Light

YSL Les Sahariennes Bronzing Powder, a blurring skin perfector for contouring or sun-kissed glow, is available in a limited edition shade called N° 4 GOLDEN BLIS. The powder is paired with YSL’s latest makeup innovation Top Secrets Eye Perfecting Fluid, a hydrating fluid to repair, protect, and refresh the delicate under eye skin.

YSL La Laque Couture is available in three limited edition shades

• N° 102 Gris Graffiti – greenish blue
• N° 103 Red Anarchy – fiery red
• N° 106 Clandestine Silver – silver
