YSL Beauty has just announced that its brand new lipstick, Volupté Plump In Color, is launching soon. The innovative lip color, designed by YSL Beauty Creative Director Tom Pecheux, is all about effortless, springtime looks, and natural yet sophisticated makeup.

Volupté Plump In Color, which debuts in eight fresh shades, is designed to amplify brilliance of the lips. This unusual duo-tone lipstick features a pigmented formula with a unique black heart in the center.

The black heart core combines cooling and refreshing peppermint oil with black pearl powder that plumps up the lips, giving them more volume. The outer side of the lipstick is the classic Rouge Volupté Shine formula that gives fresh color and shiny finish to the lips. In addition, the formula combines nourishing ingredients such as coconut oil and pomegranate extract.

In addition, 12 new shades of Rouge Volupté Shine, created under supervision of Tom Pecheux, will be added to the permanent line, so the collection includes 32 shades in total. The formula remains unchanged. It is the same old medium-coverage oil-in-stick lipstick made with 60% oils, and designed to provide luscious color and luminous shine while conditioning lips.

The promotional campaign for both new launches is fronted by Kaia Gerber, YSL’s newly appointed beauty ambassador. Kaia’s first campaign for the brand will launch in January 2019, photographed by David Sims and with make-up by YSL Beauté global beauty director Tom Pecheux.
