IDUN Minerals

IDUN Minerals is a Swedish brand of mineral makeup, founded in 2011. The brand is named after Idun, the Old-Norse goddess of Eternal Youth, spring-tie and rejuvenation.

At first, it was exclusive for Swedish pharmacies, which are very strict on the ingredients they sell and have a very long “black list” of those. IDUN Minerals is committed to use purified minerals and the purest and cleanest ingredients to help the skin look great.

 IDUN Minerals uses the highest quantities of purified minerals in creating a makeup line that gives full coverage, while also caring for and protecting the skin. It does not contain artificial ingredients or even some of the natural impurities that can have a bad effect on skin. The line includes: foundation, powder, concealer, blush, bronzer, lipgloss, lipstick, eye shadow and mascara. It also includes associated brushes and a brush cleaner.

 The minerals used are purified from nickel, chromium and microorganisms. The basic products do not contain talc, oil, silicone, perfume, bismuth, or preservatives such as parabens – substances that can lead to irritation, rashes and allergic reactions. The products are also inorganic and anhydrous, which prevents formation of bacteria.
