I went to Clinique's site to figure out how to use this since instructions didn't come with my little sample from my Play! by Sephora. On their site, this eye cream is supposed to make your eyes "look wide awake, refreshed in just 3 seconds." Noooo, that didn't happen. It "hydrates and brightens", too. Yes, it hydrates, not in a greasy way, just enough where you might have to re-apply as needed. As for a brightening effect? I don't see that in the typical whitening way that I would expect. It's supposed to have collagen boosting effects. I wouldn't know in the long run. It's ad also tell me that the tip is designed to de-puff and has a cool touch to it. I can honestly say that a plastic tip doesn't do either of those claims. Not unless I put it in the fridge. What this cream and applicator did do for my under eyes is push the skin around (that little plastic applicator is heavy to use and you have to push out the white cream and enough of it or you're pushing hard plastic on your skin) which isn't such a good thing for the delicate under-eye area. After I applied it, the skin seemed more puffy as if it was frozen (stranger looking but as if it had taken the under-eye area and sealed it in place). The only way I'd use up the rest is to apply it on my finger and then apply it to my skin. I don't see any instant results at all as they claim. I'd rather go back to my regulars.
