Burberry Cosmetics launches Mr. Burberry Grooming Collection

The house of Burberry has launched its new men’s fragrance, named Mr. Burberry. The fragrance, which is designed by chief creative and chief executive officer Christopher Bailey and the perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, is said to be inspired by Burberry’s iconic trench and by the city of London.

For Bailey, London is a city of great contrasts and contradictions, so Mr. Burberry fragrance has to be elegant, but without being pristine. He also described it as the label’s most significant men fragrance to date. The herbal woody fragrance, which is designed to leave a fresh, aromatic and a bit sweet trail on men’s skin, is woven from the notes of grapefruit, birch leaf, vetiver, amber, cardamom, tarragon, and anise.

To coincide with the launch, the brand has released a grooming line that is promoted on Snapchat's Discover channel. The grooming range includes a deodorant, body wash, and deodorant stick, face moisturizer, and beard oil. All products are infused with the same, invigorating and sensual scent of Mr. Burberry.

The faces of the promotional campaign, shot by Steve McQueen in a London studio, are the British actor and musician Josh Whitehouse and British model and actress Amber Anderson, who is also the face of Burberry cosmetics. The music is composed by Benjamin Clementine. To learn more about the fragrance, and see what our community at Fragrantica thinks about it, please visit this link.
