Mathew Williamson, the famous London-based fashion designer, has just launched an interesting new project developed in collaboration with Benefit Cosmetics – The Rich Is Back makeup palette!

Benefit Cosmetics The Rich Is Back is a limited edition makeup palette that brings three neutral shimmery eye shadows and a popping bright teal, along with a cherry lip gloss, blush and black mascara. The items are delivered in a kaleidoscopic box decorated with peacock feathers and pink flowers. Williamson has designed the box inspired by his favorite decade – the seventies, when the Benefit brand was also born! With its rich, high-impact shades, this palette evokes the glamorous days of disco. 

Speaking about the project, Williamson said: “They (Benefit) take a slightly irreverent, tongue-in-cheek approach… and the optimism expressed in the brand is something I like to do in my work,” and he added “This is high-octane glam makeup for dressing up to look fabulous & dance the night away!”

The beauty tray can be removed from the case, which is instantly re-purposed as a glam jewelry box decorated with Matthew Williamson’s most iconic prints. The palette is coming soon to Sephora and it will be priced at $34.00.
