benefit Dandelion Shy Beam Highlighter

Published: 2015-12-16 by Marina Milojević in Makeup

Benefit cosmetics has just released a brand new highlighter. This time, the famous beauty brand presents an innovative nude pink matte-radiance highlighter, which is specifically designed to give your skin a natural-looking, as-lit-from-within glow.

While most of the highlighters come with a bit of shimmer, which sometimes gives the impression of an oily complexion rather than a dewy and smooth, Benefit’s new Dandelion Shy Beam Highlighter is completely shimmer-less. It creates a much subtler finish than shimmer highlighters, which makes it ideal for emphasizing facial contours and creating an illusion of balance and symmetry. The Dandelion Shy Beam Highlighter is great for contouring! You can use it to emphasize your cheeks, refine the curve of your nose, or anywhere where light would naturally hit your face. The formula is quite dense and creamy, infused with nude-pink pigments, and extremely buildable. You can use it under your foundation or on top of your makeup, as a spot highlighter, wherever you wish to create an illusion of a soft sheen.

Same as all other liquid highlighters, Benefit Dandelion Shy Beam Highlighter is easy to blend, so it can be used even on larger surfaces of the skin. You may also mix it with your complexion products or moisturizers, to create an overall subtle veil of shine. This shimmer-free formula is ideal to use on cheeks, nose, and chin, since these facial areas should have a dewy finish, instead of shimmering. You may also use it to minimize the appearance of dark circles under the eyes, to illuminate, awaken, and lighten dark shadows.

Benefit Dandelion Shy Beam Highlighter is available for purchase at Sephora.com. The product retails at $26.00, for a 0.33 oz bottle.
