L'Oréal Paris Hydra Genius Aloe Water Review

This week I had a moisture revelation: Hydra Genius Aloe Water by L'Óreal. All my hyaluronic acid serums were empty and I needed a new bottle of something to give moisture and protection to my skin. I've become addicted to hyaluronic acid and I recommend it to everyone looking for skin benefits without complicated formulas. This is the magical ingredient, in my opinion, as you can read in THIS article I wrote previously.

So I was at the supermarket doing grocery shopping when I accidentally came across a blue glass bottle that was in promotion. It cost less than 10 euros and I grabbed it to see what it was about. Well, it said it was moisturizing and had aloe vera. 2 nice things. But when I turned the packaging around I could realize that it has much more to it. Yes, it had aloe vera, which is a great for healing skin, protecting it and even help heal some damages. But it also has 2 kinds of hyaluronic acid, which is the perfect combination. Again, check my article. It has bisabolol, a common agent used to calm down irritated skin. And all of this comes in a fresh, water-like texture in a big bottle for a low price. I bought it!

My experience: this is amazing. Yes, it's moisturizing, quenching, calming. It does what it promises. My neck area, prone to rashes, becomes free of problems after a couple of days using it. I can feel a good quantity of hyaluronic acid here and the texture is amazing. For those of you who have oily skin, this is not oily at all and it might be everything you need, without having to put another moisturizing cream on top. It's a very refreshing lotion and it feels very nice now that the weather is getting warmer. For the ones with dry skin, you might need an extra layer of a thicker cream. And, of course, always wear sunscreen.

I would say that this a perfect choice (with a perfect name, by the way) if you are looking for protection against pollution and other aggressions, moisture, calming effects and a general feeling of freshness on your skin. Price is more that perfect too. Go for it!
