The famous English singer and songwriter Jessie J has just been introduced as the new face of Make Up For Ever. Jessie J and Make Up For Ever are launching a new sequel to MUFEs Artist collaboration in 2017. The Artist franchise debuted with Charlie XCX and the 20 gorgeous shades Aqua XL Eyeliner Pencil this spring, followed by the Artist Rouge collection, a range of 45 lipsticks designed in partnership with Icona Pop this summer. The Paris-based makeup brand and Jessie J are continuing to build upon the success of the Artist collection with four upcoming product ranges.
Make Up For Ever has signed Jessie J for an entire year, and their plan is to roll out four different product launches backed up with corresponding songs and videos. The British singer has already released a first musical cover to promote Make Up For Ever’s new "#iamanartist" campaign, a cover of Frankie Valli's 1967 hit "Can't Take My Eyes Off You."
“The music video is a way to connect fans with these new, high-performance products through song and a unique visual experience… I had creative freedom to drastically change my look throughout the video using makeup. I even changed my hair color with each look, to celebrate past, present, and looks I have never done.” – said Jessie J of the cross promotion.
Make Up For Ever x Jessie J collaboration is rolling out at retail on January 17, 2016, with ten new shades of Acrilyp lip paint. The Acrylip is described as a rich, highly pigmented lip color, which has a high-shine finish similar to acrylic paint. The colors glide on with the ease of a gloss, promising the wear time of a lipstick. The formula is extremely buildable, and it goes anywhere from a soft wash of color to an intensely layered look. The non-sticky, non-drying texture feels weightless, while the innovative cushion applicator ensures the ultimate precision. Each of the 10 shades will retail for $24.
In addition to product, video, and promotion of the track, Make Up For Ever will support the singer on stage throughout the year in festivals, concerts and video clips. Make Up For Ever Acrylip Lip Paint is coming soon to Sephora.Advertisement
