Burberry Cosmetics introduces Liquid Lip Velvet

Burberry Cosmetics has just introduced its new lip product called Liquid Lip Velvet, a range of matte lip colors with a soft, creamy texture.

The Liquid Lip Velvet formula combines rich pigment with a comforting, whipped texture. It promises to give your lips a bold, velvet finish that lasts for up to eight hours. Unlike many traditional matte lipsticks, this one won’t dry out your lips. It keeps them supple, soft, and moisturized, ensuring that the color doesn’t crack. Burberry’s Liquid Lip Velvet is available in 14 different shades, including Burberry’s iconics like Military Red, Bright Plum, Fawn Rose, and Oxblood. Each of the shades retails for $34.00.

As an exclusive pre-launch for The Runway Edit, Liquid Lip Velvet was available in shade Fawn Rose. Wendy Rowe used it in September to create a perfectly nude velvet lip complementary to the clothing collection.

The star of the promotional campaign for Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet, launched yesterday, is Iris Law, Jude Law and Sadie Frost’s eldest daughter. It looks like more and more beauty brands are interested in inking a deal with aspiring young models with celebrity parents. Just to remind you, earlier this year, Cindy Crawford’s daughter, Kaia Gerber was introduced as the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty, while Johnny Depp’s daughter Lily-Rose Depp collaborates with Chanel.

The sixteen-year-old Iris Law has recently been announced as the newest beauty ambassador of Burberry Beauty, and her very first campaign for the brand was launched yesterday. Wendy Rowe has created the beauty look for the campaign visuals. She painted Law’s lips in Military Red No. 41 and Oxblood No. 53, and slightly contoured her face with the Face Contour pen in medium. The campaign was shot in London, by Angelo Pennetta and features the soundtrack “Faded” by musician Clare Maguire.

For the first time ever, Burberry has also created a special Tumblr page dedicated to the launch of its Liquid Lip Velvet. The page is presented as a mood board filled with exclusive images of Law shot on the campaign set. In addition, Burberry will also host a series of individual color stories on Pinterest, allowing the users to shop the edit.
