Burberry Cosmetics The Runway Edit Collection

Burberry London introduces the Runway Edit Collection, which is strongly influenced by the make-up look from the February 2017 show. Along with the collection, which focuses on a feminine and refined color palette, Burberry introduces its new Lip Color Contour, a pen-format lip color that primes, contours, and shapes for naturally fuller-looking lips.

The Runway Edit, a new capsule make-up collection, reflects the make-up looks from Burberry RTW February 2017 show. Christopher Bailey, the imaginative force behind Burberry's new RTW collection, found his inspiration in the works of Henry Moore, the Yorkshire artist and sculptor. The collection came mainly in black, grey, and faded blue, with structural details, cable-knits, and angular shoulders.

“Moore’s work is about changing the form, putting it in different directions,” said Bailey about the collection “His shoulders were suddenly up here, the breasts were suddenly down here, and I liked that idea of putting something on, turning it in a completely different way, deconstructing it, changing the shape of the body by moving the lines and the pieces in a more unconventional way.”

Burberry's new Runway Edit Collection encapsulates the backstage secrets from the show, which are all about creating nude, natural looks, and playing with shadow and highlights to create an illusion of volume and dimension.

The central item of the palette is the Burberry Lip Color Contour, a nude pen that adds a soft shadow to the lip line to create the illusion of fuller, plumper lips. The pen is filled with the creamy, weightless formula that promises up to 6 hours of hydration and wear. Its domed tip ensures quick and easy application. The pen also doubles as a lip primer. Burberry Runway Nails set includes three high-shine nail polishes inspired by the Burberry February runway collection. These new shades reflect the collection's patterns and fabrics. Available in Sky Blue, Indigo, and Mist Grey. $69

Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet, a matte cream color with a comforting, whipped texture, is offered in a shade Fawn No.5. It retails for $34.

Burberry Kisses Lipstick, a lightweight, buildable, semi-sheer lipstick, is available in a shade Tulip Pink No.09. It retails for $34.

Burberry Kisses Gloss, a comfortable, hydrating, shiny lip gloss, arrives in a shade Tulip Pink No.09. The gloss is priced at $29.

Burberry Full Kisses lip color, a bold, long-lasting color for fuller-looking lips, is offered in Nude Beige No.500. The lip-contouring formula retails for $30.

Burberry Eye Colour Silk an ultra-blendable, silky smooth powder eye shadow that offers high color intensity with both wet and dry application, arrives in two cool, stone-inspired shades: Stone Blue No.307, and Nickel No.304. Each of them is priced at $29.50.

Burberry Eye Color Cream is available in a warm, shimmering hue named Sheer Gold No.96. The creamy eyeshadow retails for $30.
