Kylie Jenner Launches Nail Polish Collections

Kylie Jenner, the youngest of the Kardashians, is slowly becoming a huge star, and the most influential out of her siblings. The 18-year-old celebrity has already proven herself as one of the major influencers in fashion and beauty. Last November, self-designed Kylie LipKit was sold out in a matter of minutes, while even crashing her website. Three new shades and a restock of the original trio were also sold out in no more than 28 minutes.

This year, Kylie expands her offerings to nail polish! In addition, the name of her website was changed from Kylie LipKit to Kylie Cosmetics, indicating that she might be working on a full cosmetic line! For start, Kylie, who is also the beauty ambassador of Nip + Fab skin care, has partnered with SinfulColors to create a three limited-edition nail collections.  

The first release, named the King Kylie Collection (after the Instagram persona she built for herself) is hitting the shelves in early March. The release will be followed by two more collections, in April and May. As announced by Kylie, the King Kylie Collection will include no less than 20 shades of SinfulColor's Sinful Shine two-step gel-like formula. Unlike her lip collection, which was a highly exclusive limited edition, the nail collections will be distributed at mass retailers such as Walgreens and Target. Each of the shades will be priced at an affordable $2.99, which is only a dollar more than classic SinfulColors nail polishes.

According to the recent survey conducted by the fashion site Polyvore, Kylie Jenner has surpassed Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, and Kendall as the favored sister among teens. And, undoubtedly she knows how effective her influence is in this age group: “I wanted to do something innovative and accessible to my young fans,” Kylie told WWD, “The colors are great for all skin tones, too.”
