Traditionally, each year, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a month marked by an annual campaign to increase awareness of the illness. A variety of charity and awareness events around the world are organized in October, and most of the beauty brands are taking their part in this. Same as every year, OPI participates in Breast Cancer Awareness Month by supporting the largest breast cancer organization in the United States - Susan G. Komen.

For this year’s campaign, OPI has designed a special duo pack with pink-colored lacquers and a special pink glitter nail file. No less than 25,000 of the proceeds arising from the sale of the OPI Pink of Hearts Duo for 2014 will be donated to the Susan G Komen foundation, and additional $5,000 will go directly to Rethink Breast Cancer in Canada, an organization supporting young adults concerned about or affected by breast cancer through education and research. For 2014, OPI’s Pink of Hearts duo features a classic pink shade named Mad About You, and a brand new confetti-glitter shade named The Power Of Pink. Mad About You is a lovely creamy bubblegum pink, while the The Power Of Pink refers to a translucent milky-pink base infused micronized and large confetti glitter in two different shades of pink. Each of the shades can be used individually, but Mad About You also works as a fabulous top coat, which instantly transforms any opaque shade into an eye-catching work of nail art. In addition, OPI’s new Pink of Hearts Duo for 2014 includes a glittering pink nail file with pink ribbon charm attached to one of its ends.

OPI Pink of Hearts Duo for 2014 is priced at $16.95.
