YSL La Laque Couture Spicy Collection

Yves Saint Laurent’s beauty division has prepared a charming new nail polish collection for the Spring of 2014. As you can see, YSL La Laque Couture Spicy range is inspired by gourmand nuances and offered in an exciting array of shades that beautifully illustrate the colorful nature of various spices.

One shade from La Laque Couture Spicy range has already been released, and that is a season-friendly Feuille d’Or top coat. Translated into English, Feuille d’Or means Golden Leaves, and this is exactly what this shade is all about.

YSL Feuille d’Or top coat features a clear formula infused with charming leaf-like golden flecks. You can use it as a standard top coat, to add a golden touch to your favorite shade of nail polish. I can imagine how gorgeous it must look if layered over a midnight blue, a jet black or a deep emerald shade. However, gold is one of the universally flattering nuances, and you can combine it with almost any other shade, to create a fully customized look. You can also wear this shade on its own, and layer it to your own taste until you get a desired effect. The shade is currently available from YSL website, and it retails at €21.5.

In addition to the Feuille d’Or lacquer, YSL La Laque Couture Spicy Collection features five more shades: 41 Eau de Rose, 42 Safran Sultan, 43 Opulente Cannelle, 44 Ambre Gingembre, and Poivre Noir. Each of these lovely shades will be priced at $25.
