Zoya is launching a limited edition nail polish collection inspired by Emily Liebert’s new novel, “You Knew Me When.”
Zoya You Knew Me When Collection features three interesting shades, which will be sold starting from September, at zoya.com. The collection is also a clever marketing tool which will increase publicity for the novel and eventually increase sales. For Emily Liebert, Zoya You Knew Me When Collection is a fun way of getting publicity through gorgeous cream colors named after the three main female characters:
- Katherine Hill – a deep red shade,
- Laney Marten – a dark green shade,
- Luella Hancock – burgundy shade.

In an interview for WWD, Rebecca Isa, Zoya’s color developer, said that Emily had some ideas for the types of colors that the characters would wear. The colors were chosen based on the character descriptions, among the shades that were designed to work for the fall season of 2013.
Zoya You Knew Me When Collection Is priced at $24.99. It will be released at the same time as the paperback book You Know Me When, which will retail for $15, at Barnes & Noble bookstores nationwide and at Amazon.com. The book will also be featured at Target’s Emerging Authors program from September till October 2013. Zoya You Knew Me When Collection will be gift-packaged with autographed copies of the novel, and Zoya will offer complementary nail polish changes with the three shades at book signing locations – various beauty boutiques in New York.
