Cosmetic brand Origins is joining the global breast cancer awareness campaign, which runs each October around the world. To support the cause, Origins is launching a limited edition lip balm in Berry Splash.-
As announced by the brand, $3.50 or £2.50 from each sale of the lip balm will be donated to charity The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, which is an independent, not-for-profit organization founded in 1993 by Evelyn Lauder, late Senior Corporate Vice President of The Estee Lauder Companies. The Breast Cancer Research Foundation currently funds over 200 researchers in 6 continents and 13 countries. The great portion of the organization’s funds is collected during the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, each October, a campaign to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure.Origins Drink Up Hydrating Lip Balm in Berry Splash is delivered in a specially designed tube, which features a silhouette of the famous pink ribbon – an international symbol of breast cancer awareness. The lip balm is formulated to drench lips with moisture, while giving them a subtle hint of berry-tinted color. The balm is formulated with soothing Aloe Vera, nourishing Apricot Kernel and Avocado Oils, and comforting blend of Orange Peel, Barley and Wheat Germ.
